With our associate the Midtown Development Corporation, Jubilee Baltimore has worked to restore the former MacGillivray's drug store building at 900 North Charles Street, in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon neighborhood. This important community vitalization project was awarded the prestigious National Trust/HGTV Restore America grant.

Reservoir Hill
April 29, 2005

Maryland Lieutenant Governor Michael S. Steele awards Community Legacy grant award of $215,000 to Jubilee Baltimore to support its work in the Upper Eutaw-Madison area of Reservoir Hill. The award can be used by homeowners to assist in the purchase or rehabilitation of their historic homes.

October 2005
Midtown and University of Baltimore

In October, 2005, Jubilee and the Midtown Benefits District coordinated with the University of Baltimore's Center for Student Involvement to perform community service in Midtown. Over twenty students participated in cleaning streets and planting and mulching tree wells. Midtown community service days are planned to occur once a semester.

Dundalk
June 27, 2005

On June 27, 2005 Maryland Governor Robert L. Erhlich, Jr. announced Community Legacy awards in Dundalk, Maryland, including the $100,000 award granted to Jubilee's partner the Dundalk Renaissance Corporation.
