Tax Credit Benefits
- Maryland – the State refunds 20% of eligible expenditures. There are programs for income producing and primary residence properties.
- Baltimore City – the City reduces applicants' property tax burden for ten years by adjusting the property tax liability to reflect the property's pre-renovation assessment.
- Federal – the Federal government credits 20% of eligible expenditures against Federal taxes owed (only income-producing properties are eligible)
